Customer Acquisition

We open the conversation in person and by phone, then hand a real lead into your sales process.

Reaching people who are not yet customers

Customer acquisition is the work of opening a conversation with someone who does not buy from you yet, and of handing that conversation into a sales process that can finish it. Experts Group does this in person and by phone. Field trials, live outreach, and follow-up calls are mixed according to the product. A considered purchase is not run like a sampling blitz, and a simple trial is not wrapped in a process that tires the customer before they have decided. The practice, from Hyderabad, works with national and international brands that need new names which are real enough for a desk to call.

The method follows the product

We begin by asking how a stranger actually comes to want the thing you sell. Some products are chosen in a shop after a short explanation. Some need a trial at home. Some need a phone call after an event, once the person has had time to think. The programme is built around that path. A stall, a street team, a list, or a calling hour is added only if it belongs on the path. Consent is part of the design. A name taken without a clear agreement to be contacted is not a lead we will pass on. The handoff is written so a conversation at a stall is still intact when your team sees it: who the person is, what they were offered, and what they asked to happen next.

Lists, trials, and the first call

Where a list is built, it is built from people who took part, not from a purchased file of strangers. Trials and sampling are staffed by people who can explain the product and record the response. The first follow-up call happens while the meeting is still fresh. Telemarketing, when it is used, works from the same offer the field team used, so the customer does not hear two companies. Quality is judged by conversations that can move, not by the size of a spreadsheet. A long list of people who do not remember meeting you is a cost, not an asset. We would rather hand you fewer names that a salesperson can work.

Where this sits in an engagement

Acquisition is often the front of a longer piece of work. Events and roadshows create the meeting. Field marketing keeps the brand in a catchment. Sales management looks after the outlets once a customer exists. Service keeps the person after the sale. Keeping these in one consultancy means the promise made at the first hello is the promise the rest of the team will keep. If your own sales desk will take the lead, we agree the shape of that handoff before the first day in market. If you need us to carry the call as well, that is a separate, visible part of the brief, not an assumption.

What to send us

Write with the product, the kind of customer you want, and the cities where you want to meet them. Say whether you need trials, a live team, a calling programme, or a mix. We will tell you which of those will actually produce a conversation worth having, and how you will see the names as they arrive. Acquisition without a next step is only noise. The next step is part of the service, not an afterthought once the activity is over.
